Preserve portability

Workflows should separate business logic, data preparation and validation from provider-specific calls where practical. Documented interfaces and repeatable benchmarks keep learning useful if hardware and suppliers change.

A useful review rhythm

Application reviews work best when they include the full path from input data or physical signal to a human or system decision. Performance at one quantum step may be important, but latency, calibration, error, workflow fit and validation determine whether the complete service is useful.

Keep the benchmark alive as the experiment develops. Classical algorithms, sensors, accelerators and operating practices continue to improve, so comparisons should be rerun under representative conditions. A transparent benchmark makes a positive result more credible and a negative result more informative.

The strongest next step is a bounded piece of work with an owner, a current baseline and an explicit decision at the end. It should improve confidence without requiring the organisation to predict the whole technology market.
